Shouldn’t there be a manual on healing a broken heart? Somewhere in the back of the mind of an average human adult, there will almost always be a person who we remember as the one that we did not want to let go.. We can all at times wonder: why do people come and go out of our lives beyond our control? And why do we more often than not, resent having to let go of someone we have shared a part of our lives with?

One of Stataquest’s topics include a lecture about people coming into your life either for a reason, a season or a lifetime. This theory goes on saying that essentially in people relationships, there will be characters that you meet in order to fulfil a particular need in a very specific part of your life, hence a reason. But like a task that once done no longer exists, these people move on with their lives prompted by relationships problems or not. Anyhow, their departure should be your cue to move on from that moment in time, too.

In some instances, people stay in your life for a season. These are the people who you share a significant segment in your life such as childhood or teenage years. There is more than a mere need to be fulfilled in the relationships you build with them, and amorous or not, they will have more influence in your becoming as a person. But as these segments come to a conclusion, despite the numerous break up advice and strategies on how to save a relationship, these people may just simply cease to become the characters we play alongside with in the game of life.

And when we are lucky enough, we get to meet the people who’ll stay with you for a lifetime. It is through these people from whom, you will learn the lessons in life which you shall build your life upon. These relationships more often than not contribute to our knowledge about relationships from finding and falling in love to healing a broken heart. These valuable learnings will soon inspire not only the way you deal with relationships but all the other areas in your life.

You see, by being able to recognize a person’s purpose in your life, comes the acceptance of just how long we can hold on to those dear ties. Instead of being haunted by a broken relationship, we can appreciate instead those people who have been the pillars of our being. And ultimately, by studying relationship communication we can hope to distinguish lifetime relationships where in we can receive as well as give the lifetime lessons that our lives shall take shape from.

Is it possible then to prevent heartbreaks? Though love may have its “mysterious ways”, we can always change the way we see and interact with it. By understanding the human nature of relationships be it in the process of easily being able to empathize; in the necessary moments of parting; and further, perhaps finally, in the first and firm steps of healing a broken heart.

what can i do to save my relationship with my boyfriend?

ok, my boyfriend and i have been dating for a year now and it seems like we are drifting apart. the other thing is he’s in another city 200 miles away because of work and i dont get to see him as much. i dont want to lose him and im lost of what to do. i love him dearly and need ideas of how to keep our relationship alive and well. any ideas for long distant relationships??

long distance relationships are the hardest…. i think the best thing to do is try and lose any boring and non-exciting habitual things you have with the relationship now and to add some spice into it…. examples: surprise visit him, send him letters in the mail, take him on a date that you guys have yet to go or do, surprise him at school or work, send him cute texts, send him sexy texts, let him know that you do love him and that hes the only one but dont cling (which is possible even in long distance relationships), use your imagination and just change up the routine thats been going on… Best of Luck

Hey everyone ! So I am starting a completely new idea on youtube. I decided that since my formspring has been such a huge hit lately that I had to do something about it ! I do get questions about my hair and makeup but the majority of the questions are about relationships and life in general. I think people have found me a good person to confide in and take advice from. I have very strong opinions on certain things and LOVE to help others when they have a problem. So here is my idea And i hope you all like it !

I am making videos to help you guys !
I make one topic for each month.
Every week I answer 10 of my favorite questions (posted by you guys in the comment section of the videos) on that month’s topic.
So there will be a total of 3-4 videos a month on that one topic for the month. One video will be posted each week answering 10 questions at a time.

my BF went away for work months ago, but promised to return to me
but now it looks like i may never hear of see from him again because its been so long
and i have no contact with him.

i cant tell you how badly im hurting now..i still love him so much and just want him to come back
i have cried so many times and just feel like life is completely pointless.

why wont my heart stop hurting for him?
how can i heal a heart so broken when i cant stop thinking of him?

I totally agree with Chris. I went through something similar myself, only it was me who had to go away. When I got back, my bf had cut all ties and I have no idea where he is now or why he left.
But Chris is right, don’t try and suppress the feelings you’re having. I totally understand that it’s awful – the worst feeling in the world, but if you don’t allow yourself to feel that way, it’ll become bottled up inside you and you’ll never get rid of it.
The best thing to do is to let it run it’s course. It hurts, I know, but trust me, it will feel better in time. I still love my bf with all my heart, but it doesn’t hurt any more and I’m sure given more time my feelings will fade and I’ll be able to find someone else. If he got in touch with me tomorrow I’d tell him to go back where he came from and leave me alone!! Honestly things will feel so much better in time. Be strong – I believe everything happens for a reason, and going through this has made me so much stronger.

I have mad oral skills ans straight men love it. I recently found out I am HIV positive and this really sucks. My man Joe left his wife and kids for me but then went back to them. Do you think I should tell him about my HIV status. I really want him back but I just can’t let him know because he got his wife pregnant after him and his wife got back together. What should I do?

whoa.. that is awful. you have to tell him though. his wife is pregnant. there are precautions they can take to drastically reduce the chances of the baby getting it as well but her doctor needs to test and know as soon as possible. otherwise the chances of her baby getting it are high and they won’t know until one day the baby gets sick.. plus, she needs to know if she has it, she cannot breastfeed.. if she has it and the baby lucked out and didn’t get it, if she breastfeeds she would give it to the baby..

it’s a painful situation for everyone involved. but please don’t let a child pay for this. let them know so they can take the right precautions.
